Our approach to landscape lighting is subtle and considered. Rather than illuminating the entire garden, carefully positioned lights are used to highlight feature planting, define pathways and steps, and create depth through areas of light and shadow. The fittings themselves should remain discreet, allowing the landscape to remain the focus.
Planting takes on a completely different quality after dark. Grasses, foliage, sculptural trees and flowering plants respond beautifully to directional light, creating texture, movement and shadow. When incorporated into the design from the outset, outdoor lighting can also strengthen the connection between indoor and outdoor spaces and extend views into the garden at night.
